Two people are locked up after a bizarre incident in North Shreveport.

Just before 10:30 am on Friday night, Shreveport police responded to a report of an assault at the McDonalds Restaurant in the 1600 block of North Market Street.

Officers arrived and learned that 26-year-old Matthew Matthews, and 28-year-old Christian Sullivan entered the McDonalds drive-thru and placed an order. As they approached the window the employee recognized Matthews as a  customer from the day before whose order was incorrectly filled. He apologized for the mishap and ensured Matthews that they would get the order correct. Matthews began shouting homosexual slurs at the employee, pulled a handgun, and pointed it at the employees that were standing at the window. Sullivan then took the gun from Matthews hand and also pointed it at the employees.
