Americans Continue To Come Together Now For Irma Victims
Let's be honest over the past few years we have seen a lot of divide in our country whether it's for political reasons, social media or whatever. In recent weeks, many Americans lives have been personally rocked by tragic storms and other natural disasters. During this time our country has come together to help our fellow citizens in need. From individuals to groups like the Cajun Navy to businesses we've seen sacrifice for our neighbors no matter who they are.
Now the focus turns to victims of Hurricane Irma while the threat of Hurricane Jose is still out there. The Cajun Navy has already announced that they are on their way to help with any rescue needs in Florida. This brave group of heroes have gone through a lot including stories of them being shot at while assisting with Hurricane Harvey relief. That has not stopped them from working long hard hours to help in any way they can.
Now adding to the relief assistance from bringing supplies to the islands to picking up stranded tourists. The Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd say they are expecting to pick up thousands of tourists stranded throughout the Caribbean because of Hurricane Irma.
