Earlier this week officials with Airline High School in Bossier City announced that senior Erin Bullock had been chosen as Regional Student Of The Year and is one of four finalists vying for the title of Louisiana High School Student Of The Year.  Erin is also a National Merit Scholar Finalist.

Now you can add Noah Booker's name to the list of National Merit Scholar Finalists. Due to a technicality, the Airline senior's name didn't make it on the original notification list.  Officials rectified that situation and Noah and the school were notified in the last few days.

This is a prestigious honor not only for two outstanding students, but also for Airline High School and Bossier Parish Schools.  Out of 1.6 million applicants in the National Merit Scholarship Program only 15,000 are chosen nationwide each year.

Noah and Erin will find out in the next month if they are chosen to receive a National Merit Scholarship which includes monetary awards from various corporations and universities.
