With five million albums sold, $50 million in ticket sales, and millions of fans, Candlebox release their fifth album, 'Love Songs and Other Musings' today. The album features nine new recordings, plus five re-recorded versions of their classic hits, including “You” and “Far Behind” from 1993’s four-time platinum debut album, Candlebox. Along with the new recordings is a new line-up, with the addition of bassist Adam Kury and guitarist Sean Hennesy. Both musicians were featured on the band’s 2008 release, Into the Sun and have toured extensively with Candlebox.

To support the album, Candlebox will be kicking off their spring tour on Friday night, right here in Shreveport at the Riverside Warehouse. One of the most intimate (read:smallest) venues Candlebox has ever played in, there's not a bad seat in the house. Unfortunately, only about 450 people will be able to get in the door. To insure that you're one of those 450, grab tickets in advance at www.outhousetickets.com, Disc Daddy on Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy, or at Riverside Billiards. Trust me, there is no guarantee that there will be tickets at the door Friday night. I advise calling in advance if you decide to wait...you might save yourself a trip downtown.

As a little motivator to pick up the new CD, and check out the show Friday night, here's the Electronic Press Kit for "Love Songs and Other Musings":
