Celebrate Local Icon and Rock and Roll Legend James Burton All Summer Long

Shreveport has a rich musical history. From the Louisiana Hayride and some of those legendary performances to our homegrown artists that have been making history for decades, Shreveport's musical roots run deep. But, there is probably no bigger homegrown musical star than James Burton.

Burton has been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he's won Grammy's and he's laid his legendary licks on more classic albums than I can count. And this summer you can celebrate the art and history of Burton's six plus decade career.

Artspace is hosting James Burton: Master of the Telecaster. This is the FIRST time Burton has shared his full collection with the world. The exhibit opens today and will run throughout the summer with special artist involved events.
