Shreveport City Councilman Willie Bradford tells 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty that he will introduce a measure at Monday's working session to call for a "vote of no confidence" on beleaguered SPD Chief Alan Crump.

Bradford tells KEEL listeners that if his resolution makes it through the council's Monday session, it will come to a vote at Tuesday's regular meeting. The councilman also says that his lack of confidence in Crump has nothing to do with the recent controversy surrounding the Chief's actions during an October 30 chase and arrest. He says his problems with Crump's leadership are based on his (Crump's) inaction to respond to Shreveport's recent spike in violent crime.
