British extreme metal band Cradle of Filth are digging into the archives, reissuing eight previous releases in July via The End Records. Six of the reissues will hit stores on July 3, with the other two available July 31. Some of the material has not been previously available in North America.

Cradle of Filth are working on a new album, which is slated to be released later this year. The band is in the mixing stage now, with just the female vocals and choirs left to be done.

July 3 reissues:
‘From The Cradle To Enslave’ EP

The 1999 EP includes two original tracks along with covers of ‘Death Comes Ripping’ (Misfits) and ‘Sleepless’ (Anathema).

‘Cruelty And The Beast’

A concept album based on the legend of Hungarian blood countess Elizabeth Bathory. It also includes a special edition five track bonus CD.

‘LoveCraft & Witch Hearts’

This is a two disc compilation album. The first disc is a sampler of Music For Nations album tracks. The second disc includes songs from limited and imported editions, such as covers, remixes and rare b-sides.

‘PanDaemonAeon’ DVD

Originally released in 1999 on VHS, it includes live concert footage from the London Astoria in 1998, a documentary and two versions of Cradle Of Filth’s first promo video for “From the Cradle to Enslave.”

‘Midian’

Originally released in 2000, it was CoF’s fourth studio album, and marked the addition of band members Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, Haunted) and Martin Powell (My Dying Bride, Anathema).

‘Dusk And Her Embrace’

Featuring guest vocals from Venom’s Cronos, this was the band’s second full-length album, originally released in 1996.

July 31 reissues:
‘Vempire Or Dark Faerytales’

This 1996 EP saw the first appearance of backing vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva, and this edition is the first time it has been officially released in North America.

‘The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh’

This is what put Cradle Of Filth on the map, their 1994 debut, and their rawest recording. This is also the first time it is officially available in North America.
