Louisiana’s finest doom metal band, Crowbar, recently announced plans to hit the road this fall for a tour of the south, one that includes a stop off in Shreveport on December 6 at the Riverside Warehouse.

According to the band’s official Facebook page, Crowbar will play 11 shows throughout the south before entering the studio to begin working on a new record. “2014 is the 25th anniversary of Crowbar and we will be bringing it,” said Kirk Windstein in a Facebook post. “So, plan on us rocking our nuts off!!!”

There is still no word who the band plans to replace bassist Patrick Bruders with, after an announcement just weeks ago stated that Bruders had quit Crowbar as well as his gig in the mighty Down. Correction: We've learned that Bruders has not quit Down.
