Things were shaking in East Texas this morning. An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the richter scale could be felt across part of East Texas. KTRE reports the epicenter of the quake was evaluated to be about 4.4 miles northwest of Timpson, Texas and 25 miles east of Henderson, Texas.

According to the USGS, the quake had a depth of 5 kilometers and occurred about 10:06 a.m.

Another quake last week hit in the same area.  Jason Hansford with the National Weather Center in Shreveport says no damage has been reported in the area from either event.

When asked by the tv station about the quake he said: "It could be fracking issues. It's just a theory, but we don't have any significant fault lines."

TX Dot crews will be out checking bridges to make sure there was no damage. Union Pacific Railroad crews will also be checking the rail lines.
