The 16th Annual Sunflower Trail and Festival will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 9am to 3pm in Gilliam, Louisiana. Under the shade trees behind the Crossroads Museum/Library, come enjoy the Sunflower Trail & Festival with a variety of entertainment, food and craft vendors, and activities for children, the Sunflower Photography contest, and many photo opportunities. This year’s entertainment at the Sunflower Festival the Sweet Potatoes from Oil City Magnet School: Ida's own - Tristin Fincher; and we have asked the Mardi Gras Dancers from Shreveport to come and entertain us. At 12:30 AJ Casio and the Two Tone Blues Band will take the stage so come enjoy one of Shreveport's finest and oldest Blues Band! The sunflowers along the trail will be blooming during the month of June and local restaurants in Gilliam are open year round for your enjoyment.
Travel to Gilliam on Highway 3049 North leaving Shreveport from Grimmet Drive.
