There's a resurgence of great grunge rock as Nirvana and Pearl Jam are a few of the notables celebrating 20th anniversaries and such.

Right on time comes a new book, Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge. Author Mark Yarm gives readers an in depth look into the era that changed rock forever.

Everybody Loves Our Town captures the grunge era in the words of the musicians, producers, managers, record executives, video directors, photographers, journalists, publicists, club owners, roadies, scenesters and hangers-on who lived through it.  - Amazon

In it, the book portrays a Kurt Cobain that loved kids with hopes of opening a petting zoo for kids, much like Michael Jackson's "Neverland." Also, that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith had reached out to Kurt to help him get clean. I am adding this to my must read list.
