Former W.A.S.P. Guitarist Chris Holmes Is Selling His ’87 Firebird for Only $1,500

I don't know about you, but in my younger days I was a HUGE W.A.S.P. fan! I love them! At that particular point in time: them, Twisted Sister, and Motley Crue were some of the biggest bands on the planet. But, apparently at least for former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes, the fall from the spotlight and popularity wasn't very graceful as he is selling his barely functioning 1987 Pontiac Firebird for $1500 (complete with signed hood).

Holmes (probably best remembered for his interview in the movie "A Decline of Western Civilization: Part II") lived the rock and roll outlaw lifestyle till its max. And, by the looks of  his body and car, he paid the price.

According to the Craigslist ad, this car has 'never been registered in California and is doubtful that it will pass smog/emissions in its current state.' Also the ad states, that the car 'does start and can be driven, although I would not attempt to drive it any distance in its current condition.'

So, if you want to own a monument to the decadence and destruction of the '80s, get your ass over to Craigslist and fork out $1500. I have an offer in now for a crack rock and a bottle of vodka. Wish me luck!
