Gene Simmons Finally Proposes to Shannon Tweed

Gene Simmons may finally take the plunge with long time girlfriend, Shannon Tweed. Yeah, if you've ever watched Gene Simmons: Family Jewels on A&E it's like they are already married, but that he's actually proposed it's a pretty big deal.

Simmons, who has repeatedly stated that he would never "tie the noose," and after 28 years together and raising 2 kids might actually meet Shannon Tweed at the alter. Of course the proposal that took place in Belize was caught on camera and you can check out all the sweet sappiness at TMZ.  We don't know Shannon's answer yet, but we will after the latest episode airs tonight at 9pm.

Personally, the fact that the camera were rolling doesn't make me think for a minute they did it just for ratings.  Nope, not for ONE minute.
