Back in the mid-1980's, Butch Walker was in a band called Southgang. They weren't much more than a one-hit-wonder with "Tainted Angel," but Butch went on to lot of success with his power-pop trio Marvelous 3 and his solo career

And let's not forget all the songs that he has written for other people like Cee-lo, Fall Out Boy, Anberlin, Saosin, Dashboard Confessional, Avril Lavigne and Sevendust to name a few -- all of which are a far cry from Southgang.
