I gotta be honest, I thought this encouraging message came from the city of Shreveport at first...

Someone in Shreveport is super creative, and awesome, and they deserve our admiration. A good friend of mine, local photographer Arthur Nerio, posted some excellent pictures and I thought I would share them with you.

Downtown, on Texas street, we have a building with a new piece of graffiti on the wall outside. The graffiti looks nicely done in black spray paint, and reads, "Nova". According to Facebook users, the graffiti piece is relatively new, but that didn't stop one creative Shreveporter from tagging it.

As of today, the art has a very realistic tag sitting next to it. The tag claims to be from the "Municipal Graffiti Standards Authority" and leaves a note of encouragement to the artist behind the painting.

Honestly, it looks so real that I had to check with several well-connected friends to be 100% it was not placed there by the City of Shreveport.

Still, I think it's pretty awesome!
