Congratulations to Deaf Angel, Our Latest Homegrown Picks Winner

Last week we gave Louisiana a bye in our weekly Homegrown Picks poll, instead shining the spotlight on three regional acts. Light the Fire, Deaf Angel and Jessica Seven all hail from Arkansas and Texas. But it was Fort Worth's own Deaf Angel who took the win, earning a spot in 99X rotation.

Consisting of Lee Daniels and Duston Daulton on guitar, bassist Kelly Robinson, drummer Scott Van Slyke and vocalist Tina Downs, Deaf Angel was originally formed in 2005. The band is currently playing shows as part of its "We Will Rise" tour.
