How Much Does the Average Beer Drinker Spend in Their Life?
Do you enjoy your beer? If you love it that much, how much is that love worth?
The Sun News recently found a study today that estimates how much of their entire lives beer drinkers spend at bars. And frankly . . . the result sounds low.
The study found the average beer drinker goes out drinking for a total of three hours and 34 minutes a week. That's roughly eight days per year.
And over a lifetime of about 50 years of drinking at bars, from age 21 to 71, that comes out to about 9,273 hours spent at bars . . . or 386 days. That's just over a year. Which, again, seems low.
The study also found the average person will spend about $17 per hour while they drink . . . and see, THAT seems high. That comes out to $157,641 over the course of your life.
