There’s nothing like seeing a major band on the so-called second stage, so you can bet that fans at Knotfest over the last two nights enjoyed the return of Lamb of God at a fevered pitch.

For singer Randy Blythe, these were the first two dates since his imprisonment in a Czech jail, where he had been held for alleged manslaughter relating to a concert death in 2010. While things worked themselves through overseas, Lamb of God were forced to cancel their summer run as they were unsure as to when Blythe would be freed.

Now back in the U.S., the singer wasted no time in lining up his first appearances, recommitting to Slipknot and their inaugural Knotfest events over the weekend.

Songs such as ‘Desolation,’ ‘Contractor,’ ‘Set to Fail,’ ‘Redneck,’ and ‘Black Label’ were among the highlights of night one in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and the band returned with just as much fervor during night two in Somerset, Wis. Fan-shot footage from last night’s (Aug. 18) show can be seen below.
