A couple of months ago, the LSU Football Program held a press conference to announce that Les Miles was leaving, and Ed Orgeron would be taking over. I remember listening to that press conference and noting that the word "interim" wasn't be in used by Orgeron OR Athletic Director Joe Alleva.

However the last couple of weeks started to look bad for Coach "O", after tough losses to Alabama and Florida, other names started to get floated. Twice now there were published reports that Florida State's Jimbo Fisher was offered the job, and then Houston's Tom Herman was offered the job. Which may actually have both been true, but neither matter right now, because EVERY published report say that LSU will officially lift that "interim" tag today.
