We really didn't need any more proof that times are tough, we can probably find all the proof we need in our bank and credit card, but this shows a new low has been reached.

KTBS reports that a local florist, James Davis of J's Special Occations, was arressted after a concerned citizen called police after seeing him taking flowers from graveside in Forest Park West Cemetary.

Davis told Shreveport police that he was only taking the easles from the dumpster to reuse in his shop.  Police did fine one easle in his car, along with some fresh flowers.  It seems that he had plans on reusing more than just the easles.

It's pretty sad that one would stoop so low as to steal flowers from the dead, but I guess you could call it recycling.  But don't because that would be lame.
