Vote on Caddo Courthouse Confederate Monument Delayed

According to KSLA, the vote that was supposed to take place Thursday night to determine the fate of the confederate statue outside of the Caddo Parish courthouse in downtown Shreveport was postponed.

Jackie Nichols, the secretary of the Caddo Commission Monument Advisory panel, was not present at the meeting and was not allowed to vote over the phone.  Another panel member recommended postponing the vote because of her absence.  No word yet on when the rescheduled meeting will take place.
