Punished Snake slithers onto the PlayStation 4 at a native 1080p and 60 frames per second while other versions of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes won't be as fortunate.

Polygon reports that the Xbox One version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will run at 720p while the PlayStation 4 version will be at 1080p, both games are said to run at 60 frames per second. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Ground Zeroes will run at 720p and at 30 frames per second. Both Xbox versions of the Ground Zeroes will have the Raiden-based 'Jamais Vu' downloadable content, while both PlayStation versions of Ground Zeroes will have the 'Deja Vu' downloadable content which will feature Solid Snake's look from Metal Gear Solid.

Japan will be getting a special 'Fox Edition' of the PlayStation 4 that will have a Metal Gear Sold 5 theme on the system itself and will have the retail version of Ground Zeroes packaged with the system. It will be the 500GB version of the PlayStation 4 and will have the Kojima Production's Foxhound logo on the system itself. Coinciding with the release of the title, it is due in Japan on March 20 for 46,980 yen (roughly $463, which is about the cost of the PS4 along with the game). Unfortunately, the Fox Edition PlayStation 4 is not slated for any type of North American or European release and appears to be a Japanese exclusive for now.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes acts as the prologue to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and will be launching on March 18 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned as we continue to provide more information for Big Boss' anticipated return and our upcoming review for Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes.
