Metallica’s 3D ‘Through the Never’ Premiere Set [VIDEO]

If you're a Metallica fan, and you happen to be in Toronto on September 9th, it would behoove you to grab a ticket to the Toronto International Film Festival, because that's when and where Metallica will be premiering their new 3D movie, "Through the Never".

Will Metallica actually be there? Well, a statement released by the band says,

“Now in its 38th year, Tiff.net is the most respected and prominent film festival in North America with many major films making their worldwide debuts there (last year’s festival brought in nearly 300 feature films from over 70 different countries!). Through The Never will screen in the special IMAX at TIFF section and we’ll be on hand for the red carpet premiere, to introduce the film and will spend some time in Toronto to chat with the press.”

Part concert film, part movie-with-a-plot, “Through The Never” tells the story of a band crew member who is sent out on a mission during Metallica's sold-out arena show. What happens? You'll have to see the movie to find out, but expect a lot of great Metallica live footage, and some onscreen chaos!
