Music vs. Special Effects: Metallica in Mexico [VIDEO]

You know the guy. The one who goes to the movie for the special effects. He can't tell you a thing about the plot, the character development, or a single word of the dialog. But they sure can tell you about every explosion, stunt, car chase, and blue screen shot.

Same for concerts. There are some that go for the love of the music. Some that go for the social activity. Some just because it's a band they're supposed to like. Then there's the guy that goes just to watch the pyro guy blow...uh...stuff...up.

Obviously, the guy that put this video together fits nicely in the latter category. Imagine the hours he invested pulling all the effects and explosions from Metallica's two-hour plus July 28th Mexico City show, and editing them into one tidy little eight minute capsule. Thank you Mr. Explosion and Special effects guy. Your psychotic fixation on everything but the music is entertaining (if not a little suspicious) to us all...
