The New York Times, Netflix will pay approximately $100 million to license the show. It's a big bump in pay from the $30 million per year Netflix paid since 2015 to WarnerMedia. So go crazy watching "Friends" over and over again, until 2020 hits and Netflix debates if they can handle the $100 Million price tag again.

Netflix announced the Christmas miracle on Twitter. They did it in true "Friends" fashion,  "The Holiday Armadillo has granted your wish: "Friends" will still be there for you in the US throughout 2019."
