While many bands take every opportunity to pimp their latest projects (some like U2 and Pearl Jam going as far as taking week-long residences) on popular TV shows, Nine Inch Nails has avoided the boob tube throughout their career. Until Friday night, that is.

With a performance of "All Time Low" from their latest album "Hesitation Marks," Nine Inch Nails broke a run that's spanned 25 years.

Trent Reznor and company took the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform a dark, and a little odd, version of "All Time Low" - with a nod to "Closer" near the end.

Nine Inch Nails are also putting the wraps on their North American tour before heading off to Australia and New Zealand for a 2014 tour with Queens of the Stone Age.
