Since Gilbert Gottfried got sacked by Aflac, after making some inappropriate Tweets after the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami, the company will be looking to the masses for the next voice of their beloved fowl.

Instead of going the usual route of hiring a celebrity voice right away, Aflac decided to solicit submissions from the general public using their Facebook page.

The submission deadline is midnight on April Fool's Day, no foolin', and Aflac plans live auditions in six markets including New York and Los Angeles. It expects to air the first ad with the new voice, to be created by its longtime agency, The Kaplan Thaler Group, on April 22.

Guess I (Drew) better get to work on my audition tape. Let's hope their aren't anymore of those homeless guys with great voices out there. To be continued...
