    Mardi Gras Madness

    There are four Mardi Gras bals scheduled this weekend in the Ark-La-Tex, so if you've got some formal wear you've been waiting show off, now's the time! It all kicks of Friday with the Krewe des Ambassadeurs Grand Bal at Sam's Town starting at 6:30pm. There are three bals Saturday evening. Head to the Shreveport Convention Center Saturday as the Krewe of Centaur holds their XXVII Grand Bal. The Krewe of Demeter will celebrate in Mansfield at the David Means 4-H Building and the Krewe of Excellence will be kicking up their heels at the Natchitoches Events Center!

    Monster Nation 2018 Ready to Rumble Tour

    Get ready to check out some serious horsepower both Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City! Tickets start at $18 and include pit party passes.

    State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport and RV Show

    It's time for the annual State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport and RV Show at the state fairgrounds Friday from 12-8pm, Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 12-6pm. Admission is $6, kids 12 and under are free and parking is free as well!

    Barkus and Meoux Pet Royalty Raffle

    The Krewe of Barkus and Meoux will be holding their annual 'Pet Royalty Raffle' to select their royalty Sunday at Rotolo's on E. 70th in Shreveport from 12-3pm. Enter the raffle to make your pet the King, Queen, a Duke or Duchess of Barkus and Meoux. You don't have to be a member of the krewe to participate. These royal pets will rule over the Pet Parade on February 4th and remain the official royalty until next year’s raffle. Raffle tickets are $1 each and stuffing the ballot box is encouraged. Proceeds go to the various philanthropic efforts of the krewe.
