    State Fair of Louisiana

    We already into week two of the State Fair of Louisiana with tons of fun activities to enjoy in addition to food row and the midway! Some special events to check out include the LRCA Rodeo Finals, Frank Foster, the 2017 Livestock Show and more! The State Fair of Louisiana is open from 10am-10pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and from 10am-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The fair is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Gate admission is $10.

    3rd Annual Paws in Paradise Rescue Pet Adoption Event

    Head to Paradise Theater in Margaritaville Resort Casino from 2-6pm this Sunday for their free Paws in Paradise event! This event is the culmination of a month of raising money through their Thursday night Paws in Paradise $20,000 Slot Tournament with monies raised going to local animal rescues and shelters. There will be vendors, fun and even pets available on site for adoption!

    13th Annual Veterans Day Biker and Classic Car Show

    The 13th annual Veteran's Day Biker and Custom Car Show is this Saturday from 9am-5pm at Riverpark Church in Shreveport. Admission is $3. The event will feature military demonstrations, children’s activities, music, silent auction, car and bike show, vendors, door prizes, food and drinks.

    Ark-La-Tex Music Awards

    SRAC (Shreveport Regional Arts Council) is hosting a red carpet event this Saturday at Central Artstation 5:30-8:30pm with awards being given to locals in both music and media. Tickets start at $28 and the event will include area artists, producers, DJs, radio executives and more. See the nominees here!
