A thief may have just ruined opening day for many little league baseball players in Shreveport. The thief stole several boxes of little league jerseys off the front porch of Coach Beaux Waddell's home in Broadmoore.

Waddell says the theft will affect roughly 60 kids on 5 teams in the area. He will have to spend over $4000 out of his own pocket to replace the stolen goods. In the mean time, the kids will be jersey-less on opening day. The season starts in 2 weeks and Waddell says it takes 4 weeks to receive the personalized jerseys.

A report has been filed with the Shreveport Police Department. If you have any information, contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers by calling (318) 673-7373 or visiting the organization's website, lockemup.org.
