Pop Evil Helps Guy Propose to His Girlfriend at Festapalooza

Should Amber Dorsey and Preston Tyler have children, they now have a great proposal story to share with them. The couple got engaged Saturday at Shreveport's rock show Festapalooza right in front of Pop Evil.

Preston told us that he and Amber had been dating for a year before he decided to propose. When it came time to ask for her hand in marriage, he got a little creative.

"I knew the guys from Pop Evil from my job at Full Throttle," Preston explained, adding that he and his then-girlfriend recently hung out with the Michigan rockers during a show in Kansas City.

With Pop Evil playing Festapalooza, he thought it was the perfect time to propose.

Preston enlisted the help of Pop Evil bass player Matt DiRito to orchestrate the proposal.

When the couple stepped out to take a few pictures in front of Pop Evil's tour bus with the group, Amber had no idea about her boyfriend's intentions. That quickly changed when Preston got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes.

So, how did the newly-engaged couple and Pop Evil celebrate the engagement? "We had moonshine as champagne," said Preston. Amber also asked Pop Evil to sign the engagement ring case, which they gladly did.

Does it get any more rock and roll than that?
