Maynard J. Keenan's side-project Puscifer is no stranger to cover songs - they covered Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and Accept's "Balls to the Wall" on last year's "Donkey Punch the Night" E.P.

With that in mind, it's no surprise to see Maynard's British Puscifer sidekick Carina Round step up with an beautiful cover of Duran Duran's "Come Undone" for the charity album "Making Patterns Rhyme: A Tribute to Duran Duran". According to Round in an interview with USA Today,

“The original is very upbeat, yet the simple repeated chorus lyric struck me as so dramatic and beautiful, and I wanted to capture some of that in this version. I also wanted to bring out the darker more longing feeling of the lyrics which was aided by Aidan [Hawken]’s voice and the angular guitars and brooding synths.”

Others contributing to the cause are Moby ("Rio”) and Warpaint (“The Chauffeur”). Look for "Making Patterns Rhyme: A Tribute to Duran Duran" in stores and online on 7/15.
