Is Queensryche finished?  That appears to be the case, as the current line up has announced plans to tour and record with Crimson Glory singer Todd La Torre in Geoff Tate’s place.

Rising West is the moniker Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, Scott Rockenfield, Parker Lundgren and La Torre will use for the new project.   They’ll play tracks from the first five Queensryche albums, and plan to start work on an album of new material before the end of the year.

All this, it seems, is the result of internal tension in the band, and Tate's decision to concentrate on his solo career.
