If you are a fan of rock/metal, you know who Dimebag Darrell is and you know his story. It was a tragedy in the rock universe when he was shot to death (along with 6 fans) at a DamagePlan show in 2004. But since his unfortunate and tragic demise, a lot of good has come out of it.

Originally formed in Arlington, Texas, in 2005 by Darrell’s friends and family, the organization has now grown to having six nationwide chapters. Each chapter will hold it’s own event, and all proceeds go directly to our two chosen charities, Little Kids Rock, and The RFD Scholarship Fund. The current chapters include: Texas, Philadelphia, Chicago, Florida, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

If you wanna have a few Black Tooth Grins, catch a few killer shows and support a damn good cause, make sure you have your ass in Dallas on August 10th & 11th.

On August 10th you can check out Hank 3, Naylor, Creeper, and Spur Gang at The Rail Club in Fort Worth. Then on August 11th, it's David Allan Coe, Texas Hippie Coalition, Orthodox Fuzz, Warbeast, and Honky at Trees in Dallas. If you can make one night, good. If you can make both, GREAT! Just make sure you make it out to keep Dimebag's memory alive and well, and to help out with a good cause. For all the info you need go to the Ride For Dime website or their Facebook page.
