Shreveport Extras Needed for Woody Harrelson & Kevin Costner Film

The Netfflix drama "Highwaymen" is looking for paid extras from Shreveport / Bossier City for scenes they are filming this week in Northwest Louisiana. The movie about infamous crime duo Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's crazy love-on-the-run romance/crime spree in the 1930's is looking for quite a few folks to fill out their scenes, and bring this angle on American History to life. Bonnie and Clyde's gang tore through our little piece of the world with bank robberies, killings, general mayhem, and a gruesome end. Their legend has inspired a new film starring Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner, and it will utilize some of the very areas Bonnie and Clyde used to terrorize almost 100 years ago.

The Movie "Highwaymen" will focus on Texas Rangers Frank Hamer and Manny Gault, the legendary lawmen that tracked down and ultimately killed the rebellious duo. According to social media posts from Millennium Studios, the production company is looking for local extras starting March 20th.

The expected turnout is expected to be massive. If you want to have your shot, you may have to wait a while. If not, you may want to avoid these areas - the traffic should be spectacularly messed up. According to the Shreveport Times, here's where you can try out:

6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, March 19, to Wednesday, March 21: Interruptions of traffic on HWY LA 3049 and Gilliam Scotts Slough Road between Ida Missionary Road and HWY LA-2, total of 12 miles.
6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, March 26: Interruptions of traffic on HWY LA 3049 and Gilliam Scotts Slough Road between Ida Missionary Road and Douglas Road.
6 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27: Street closure on McNeil Street between Texas Street and Milam Street. Interruptions of traffic on Louisiana Avenue between Texas Street and Milam Street.
7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, to Thursday, March 29: Interruptions of traffic on Leonard Road between Ellerbe Road and Hwy LA 1.
