Slipknot’s Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan Releases Limited Edition Mask

It's been a while since we've gotten anything new from the guys in Slipknot, but yesterday was the beginning of a new era. Not only has Shawn 'Clown' Crahan confirmed that there will be a new Slipknot album coming in 2014 (which is f**king awesome!), but starting yesterday Crahan announced that every year on his birthday he will release a custom Clown mask that you can own!

“I decided that every year on my birthday I’m going to release a new clown mask,” explains the man himself. “As you know, I’ve tried to get some masks out to the public and it hasn’t quite yet added up to everything I wanted to be. Now I’m collaborating with a friend named Jason Kain and we are going to bring you the new way in clownology. I just put them up today. I’m going to put masks out every year with a new story. Clown001 is starting it all off. In the near future, you will receive the story behind clown001.”

There are only 50 of these extremely limited edition Clown masks going into production. Sure, they're 500 bucks, but what the hell? You're owning a piece of Slipknot history. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that you can show off to all your Maggot friends.
