Suspect Wanted In Shreveport Fatal Hit And Run

KSLA reports that Shreveport police are asking the public's help in finding Tamala Ware who they say was responsible for a fatal hit and run which took the life of 16 year old Demetrius Dukes, Jr last month. Tamala Ware is 47 years old and lives at 7600 block of Harris Street in Shreveport.

Police believe that Tamala may still be in the area. They say after hitting the teenager Tamala got out of the vehicle to check on Demetrius before jumping back in and speeding off. It's not sure if Tamala was in the vehicle alone but police do believe she was driving.
