Jimmy Newquist & company have been a staple in the Shreveport/Bossier music scene for as long as they've been in existence.

Scott Weiland, whether you love him or hate him, is one of the greatest frontmen in rock history. The guy is pure, raw energy. Not to mention he is one hell of a song writer.

A lot of folks have been calling, Facebooking, Tweeting, etc. begging us for details on this year's edition of Festapalooza. Well, it looks like the cat is out of the bag -- at least partially. Downfall Rising, a regional band from Lufkin, slipped up and announced that they'll be playing this year's Festapalooza a little bit early.

Since our 20th Birthday Bash, things have been unusually quite around Shreveport/Bossier. But it looks like things are starting to pick back up in a BIG way.
