One year ago today (April 13), Deftones said goodbye to bassist Chi Cheng, who passed away after a 2008 car accident left him mostly in a coma for four and a half years. On the one year anniversary of his passing, frontman Chino Moreno has posted the unreleased song 'Smile' from Deftones' shelved album 'Eros.'
With the Deftones taking a short break, frontman Chino Moreno is on the road with his side-project Crosses. With a critically acclaimed new album to support, the band has also released a video for the first single, "The Epilogue":

After reports a few weeks ago that Deftones were set to enter the studio in July, photos posted on their Twitter feed this week indicate they are already hard at work recording a new album.
Deftones frontman Chino Moreno is once again off the market. (Sorry, girls!) Moreno, 38, wed his longtime girlfriend Risa Mora in a ceremony in the thoroughly romantic locale of Hawaii last week. The couple swapped vows on Wednesday, March 7.
