Oklahoma City was plagued with bad luck last night (July 16) as Megadeth's Gigantour 2013 was severely affected by extreme weather issues. Intense rain and lightning forced Device to skip their set, but that wasn't even the tip of the iceberg. Shortly before Megadeth were set to take the stage, a bolt of lightning struck an Oklahoma City transformer, cutting power to the Zoo Amphitheatre entirely.

David Draiman of Device posted this message to fans regarding the the next few dates on their current tour, MY APOLOGIES TO THE FANS IN FT MEYERS AND TO 99X FOR THE MANY ISSUES WE HAD TODAY DURING OUR SET. IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO POSTPONE SOME OF THE ORIGINALLY PLANNED SHOWS FOR THE NEXT WEEK, DUE TO A VOCAL INJURY WHICH HAS GOTTEN WORSE FROM REOCCURRING TECHNICAL/MONITOR PROBL
