First, apologies for not having posted this sooner...it's been a crazy week! But ahead of the big Homegrown Live/Cowboy Mouth show tomorrow...I wanted to make sure you knew all about Super Water Sympathy, since the group is one of the show openers...

My special guests on tonight's show...four out of five members of Super Water Sympathy, making their Homegrown debut! We'll be talking about the upcoming Cowboy Mouth show, their CD release, lots of other random topics...and we pick on "the missing guy...

The last day of July and...no guests?? Well, we might have some surprises on tonight's show. Definitely will have lots of your favorite locals...I'll tell you about some upcoming shows you DON'T wanna miss...and premiere some brand new tunes from a couple of Texas bands, too...

...and evidently, it was MOST of the show, if you were listening on the radio. We were off the air for a while last night! The online stream was working, but if you couldn't tune in, I interviewed a few of the guys from GiveN NothiN'...and they played us a live, in-studio acoustic tune, too...

Mister VP!...Knights of Thor Louisiana Chapter Vice-President Dee Everett joins me tonight...to talk about next weekend's KoT Fest! The entire Homegrown show lineup is made up of bands playing the festival, which is dedicated to a very special young man...

They're playing their first show together on the July 4th weekend...and both bands join me in the studio to tell you AAAALLLLL about it! It's gonna be madness! And someone's GUARANTEED to be offended! The Moulin Dudes (minue one)...and IDLE of the Peach (minus one) are on tonight's Homegrown show...

Great show lineup tonight...with two guest bands! First up is Tetrafusion...this will be the first time I've had the guys in the studio.  They'll be talking about a variety of things, including their upcoming show at the Riverside Warehouse...

It's Friday, so I decided to showcase TWO bands today.  First, Distant Lights from Austin, Texas.  I've seen them a total of...well, ONE time, I think. Riverside Warehouse. Couldn't even give you the date. But the guys really impressed me, both with their talent and with how super-cool they are...

Trepid was one of the first bands I met when I started doing the Homegrown show. Since then, I've probably had the group in the studio more than any other band I've interviewed. The t-shirt I'm wearing today is one of two that I own. Why did I choose this one...
