Exploring his passions beyond the scope of music, Godsmack’s Sully Erna recently made his lead acting debut in the movie ‘Army of the Damned.’ The official trailer for the action meets horror flick has just been revealed and can be seen above.

Godsmack may be taking some time off, but that doesn't mean that Sully Erna is slowing down any. The vocalist has just announced six new East Coast solo shows where he'll continue to promote his 'Avalon' solo album.

While Godsmack spent much of 2012 out on the road as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival with Shinedown and the Mass Chaos tour with Staind, the band is set to enjoy some downtime in 2013.

After announcing his participation in the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll marathon a couple of months ago, Godsmack frontman Sully Erna has been forced to pull out of the Nov. 11 race as the result of an unspecified injury.

Godsmack singer Sully Erna recently underwent knee surgery, and is now at home resting and recovering from the procedure.
