Whether we like it or not, Christmas is coming. But we do things a little bit differently here at 99X. We don't deck halls; we rock balls! Big Daddy Rich and the Outlaws from Texas, Texas Hippie Coalition, are playing this year's 99X Christmas Party December 13 at the Riverside Warehouse and we are throwing an outrageous bash full of some of the most kick-ass Christmas gifts ever.

99X winners had the chance to hang with all the Festapalooza bands and snag some photos and autographs. How many tongues can you count in these photos?

The countdown is on to the 99X-Redd's Apple Ale Festapalooza, presented by Bossier City Harley-Davidson! The first major outdoor rock festival in the SBC in over 15 years goes down Saturday, September 14th at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, with seven great bands scheduled to play for an all-ages audience...

For those that remember the first X-Fest back in 1997, I think I can say that one band in particular owned the stage that day.  They had just recently released their first album, and even though we'd been banging their song 'Black' on the radio, they were relatively unknown...

Shreveport is getting a little THC this September, but not the kind that'll get you thrown in jail. Texas Hippie Coalition will cross the border to bring its patented red dirt metal to Festapalooza.

BBQ. A Brawl. And some of the finest Southern Metal to hit Shreveport since a little band called Pantera used to call this their home away from home. All-in-All, THC at The Riverside Warehouse was one of those shows you'll be talking about seeing for years...

A lot of people have been testing positive for THC because Texas Hippie are just win shy of the Rock Cock Hall of Fame. But taking down their final challenger is going to be quite a task because standing in their way tonight is David Draiman and his new band Device!
