Warrant's "Uncle Tom's Cabin" was a turning point for Warrant. Sadly, it came out on the heels of "Cherry Pie," which made the band a parody of themselves.

The music that came before "Uncle Tom's Cabin' was kind of poppy, but this one was the one that had a story and showed off the band as performers. I would even go out on a limb and say that the Dog Eat Dog album was amazing. Sadly, music changed toward Grunge and Warrant wasn't fully evolved into their new sound. However, this song was a great swan song. And the video was one of the best in that era...maybe even to today.

On another sad note, Janie Lane took his own life a little over a year ago, but his voice was in excellent shape on this one.
