Some problems at the polls at Princeton Elementary. Voters had to wait at the polls for nearly an hour while a problem was corrected.

Bossier Clerk of Court Jill Sessions tells KEEL News

There was a problem with the register books at the precinct. They had been switched by accident. It was a human error. Had to go to one precinct, pick a book up and deliver it to another precinct.

Sessions tells us this caused a delay of about 45 minutes. She says there were about 50 people in each line early this morning when the problem was discovered.

The problem has been corrected.

Long lines have been reported all across North Louisiana.
