18-Wheeler Wreck Knocks Out Power in Southeast Shreveport
Problems in southeast Shreveport early today. An 18-wheeler lost control and crashed into an SUV at Bert Kouns and 3132 just after midnight.
The wreck knocked down some power lines putting that part of town in the dark for a few hours. The power has now been restored to the area.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital. The driver of the 18 wheeler was not hurt.
No word yet from police if the big rig driver will be ticketed.
Traffic had to be re-routed while Swepco crews repaired the power lines.
