This is my annual plea for you to be careful this 4th of July weekend and to not end up like my ex on 'AFV!' As I'm sure you know, local law enforcement officers will be on the lookout for folks who are impaired on the road and on the water, so be responsible.

While a lot of us plan on popping a few tops this weekend while grilling out, spending time on the water, with friends and family, etc... Beware of the danger of overindulging. My ex-husband learned about overindulging the hard way a few years ago and it just happened to occur over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Now, this is funny because he didn't get hurt, but it could have easily turned into a trip to the emergency room. Please don't try this at home kiddos... despite the fact this video clip made it onto America's Funniest Home Videos. In case you're wondering, he didn't win the $10,000 in prize money.

In short, be careful and don't forget to share this video as a cautionary tale of what NOT to do!

(FYI, I don't regularly call my ex-husband an idiot, but even he would agree, he was behaving like an idiot when this happened.)
