5 Men Busted in Shreveport Vice Sting

A sex sting conducted by Shreveport's Vice Unit and Crimes Against Children Task Force netted 5 arrests. According to police, the sting was conducted April 11-12 at Hamel Memorial Park.

The 5 men arrested allegedly made sexual advances towards undercover agents and all face obscenity charges. Below is the full arrest report:

• Marvin Lee Murray, 59, of Shreveport, on April 11 for allegedly exposing himself to an undercover agent at a public park in return for sexual favors;
• Mark Shiplov, 52, of Shreveport, on April 11 for exposing himself to an undercover agent and attempting to make a sexual proposition,
• Warren Williams, 74, of Shreveport, on April 11 for exposing himself to an undercover agent in a public park that people were using for recreation,
• Melvin Stallcup, 72, of Shreveport, on April 11 for allegedly exposing himself to an officer in a public park, and,
• Jimmie M. Salley, 80, of Shreveport, on April 12 for allegedly exposing himself to an undercover agent in a public park.

In years past, Police have called the park a hot bed for "illicit activity".
