Adoption Event and Pet Show at Barksdale This Saturday

The Bossier City Animal Control will be setting up at the Barksdale Main Exchange for not only another adoption day to help get their animals new homes, but also hosting a pet show, according to their Facebook page.

The adoption event will be from 10 am to 2 pm with the pet show starting at 11 am to 1 pm. The adoption event is a great way to find a new addition to your family while also making room at shelter for another animal coming in.

The pet show will have 4 different contests: Best Pet Trick, Look-a-Like contest, Biggest and smallest, and most unique. There will be prizes and give-a-ways along with savings on pet supplies.

Now if you don't have time to go on base to adopt a new four legged friend you can still go by the Bossier City Animal Control and adopt there.
