Yea, I'll take a large cheese pizza with two bottled Coronas and a shot of Fireball, please.

That is the exact phrase I will utter on a nightly basis in my Bossier City apartment if this bill comes to pass. Alcohol delivered straight to your door people. Welcome to 2019, now it just has to pass a vote.

Thomas Carmody, the Shreveport representative backing the bill, has laid out some rules when it comes to potential alcohol delivery. He says that the alcohol must come with food from the restaurant, and that only sealed alcoholic beverages would be delivered. So no margaritas, even if you have tape over the straw.

The House will now consider if delivery services should be permitted to bring cold brews with their food to your front door. We'll let you know if this ever officially becomes a thing!
